This is a video from our Omaha/Lincoln street racing get-together last Saturday..

Me and "DETurbine" are on there. Mostly him though, he gives a few guys a good run. I am the "Mazda MX-6", haha, but it's really S14 turbo KA.

be prepared, it's a BIG video, but it's worth it if you're a street racing junkie.

The best part is how you guys race with other people on the road, continually having to back off to keep from rearending people!! I think that street racing should be punishible by IMMEDIATE jail time and permanant suspension of license. Keep it on the track guys. Real men have time slips...

Well here in georgia, any "drag racing" aka street racing i think is immediate jail and suspension of license. Im definate on that for drivers undet 21.

I have watched a bit of highway racing, but at least they did it on an empty highway, out in the country, with support cars incase of an accident, and away from traffic. I am into fast cars and speed, but not at the risk of life to my loved ones or the loved ones of others.

It looked like they were being pretty responsible how they did it. I mean street racing will never be safe, over here on LI if this was the scene the idiots would probably go around the traffic on shoulders instead of slowing down.

We are being very safe and responsable, that I can tell you right now. The only business that is open is the gas station that we were at. It is an industral area that turns into a hwy. There was very little traffic, and no one other then the racers were at risk. When you have only one 1/4th track that is an hour away and is only open twice a month then there is really no other choice.

Get's spanked constantly huh?

First off I I beat the turbo BMW from a stop, yellow Hatch, and turbo Maita. The WS6 only got me by a car and a half, and I when I raced that Starion I missed third gear.

Let me give you a little run down on the cars.

Turbo BMW: 330whp (car only weighs 2600lbs.) Single t3/t04e turbo. (ran a 12.8)

Yellow Civic Hatch: Semi Built block Type R block. T3/T04e turbo, aftermarket coilovers and drag radials.

Turbo Miata: Flying Maita turbo kit, 3inch exhuast, 11psi, Tein coilovers, Link stand alone, FMIC

WS6: Gears, drag radials, headers, nitrious, and more. (mid to high 12 sec car)

Starion: Fully built block and head, big T3/T04e, SS exhuast manifold, stand alone, and 255 Nitto 555's drag radials (it's an 11 second car).

Not bad when I am keeping up with 12 sec cars...oh yeah I only spent $5k on my car that includes everything I have in my car including the car.

It is called the 1/4 mile. If you watch the video closly or were actually there you would know that I beat them. I beat the BMW by 1 1/2-2 cars and the civic by 1/2 car......I braked before they did since my brakes suck! I won fare and square. We have the 1/4 marked up there, so it was a true race. Think you need to lay off the Fast and Furious movie, we don't race a mile!

I insulted your car, so i must be a mindless ricer that learned everything from a horrible movie.

Next time, go to a track. Then when some prick likes me questions you, you'll have the slips to back it up.

I did go to the track and ran an 8.5 with fried nitto 555's (down to the threads almost) and those were 225's. Now I have fresh 555's and they are 245's this time. If you would know a little about Nissan you would you with the R200 gears you an 8.5 is about an 13.3-13.4. Also to just let you know, I ran a way better run then the 8.5 (harder launch and perfect shifts) which probably would have been an 8.3 at worst, but the clocks were down that run and that would equal out to be a 12.8-12.9 in the quarter. All the cars I raced has aftermarket decent size turbos and that is why they started to get the top end on me, but does that mean I lost?.....no becuase anyone that has knowledge about racing will know that the only thing that matters is that 1/4 mark and I made if before they did, hence me winning.
