ok so heres the deal, i wanna do a silvia front end conversion on my coupe and instead of a stock front bumper im thinking just do a full kit because i believe it will come out cheaper in the long run. so whats the fitment like from origin, dmax, version select, and chaser? each one of those companies makes kits i like but im leaning hard towards the origin streamline kit or the version select v. 4 kit. im just looking for info on fitment and thats it, i dont want to hear go OEM cause its not the look i want for my car no matter how clean it looks its just not my style.

I have had multiple Version Select and Origin kits on my car and I give them 2 thumbs up.I have a DMAX hood on my current car and give it 1.5 thumbs up.

I have never had, nor will I ever have, CHASER. Totally lame, so I won't put it on my car.

I have Origin streamline on my fastback. I love the look, but hate fiberglass.

And no kit will ever fit like OEM, period. So unless you plan on having a body shop do the install, be prepared to cut and trim and grind the kit to fit.

That's funny, I NEVER had to cut or trim any part in my (I think I had 3) full kits.

BrianHarte yeah dude Chaser through me for a loop cause on some sites like Enjuku Racing they are cheap like $400 for a full kit but on other sites they are like the same price as Origin, so i was like wtf how is the fitment if the price varies like that. Im going to have to call Ken at Enjuku and see if he can get me the Origin Streamline kit for a silvia because they dont have it listed on the site and im sure he can get me one unless i settle on the version select v.4. From your experience which brand fits better? Also why do you give the Dmax hood a 1.5 thumbs up?

They fit the same, in my opinion. The Origin comes with pre-drilled holes though, so that is nice. I don't remember my Version Select parts coming with holes.

I give the DMAX hood a 1.5 because I had to cut a lot of stuff on it to my liking. I cut a lot of the under skeleton out to clear my strut tower bar and I cut the vents open wider because they are pretty small from the factory. Also, I don't really enjoy the top vents by the windshield very much.

You gotta be cool and get Origin or Dmax or VS I have had the fun fitting two Origin kits, didnt take much. Dmax i have seen dominate as well and i have only heard good things about VS. Chaser seems hit and miss but do as you wish.

No kit will fit like OEM, which is why I'm getting rid of my origin streamline but I've tried knock off and currently have Origin and Origin eats and rapes knock offs fitment.

Don't even waste your time buying garbage ebay kits. Origin's fitment was sooooooooooooo much sweeter but still not perfect.

^^ i've installed origin kits, IMO they suck. A good reputable kit company should fit good. My URAS fits 100% on the money bumper, and also do my Bomex sides and rear.

That could be nice as long as you don't go for the "aggressive" kit.SeiBon hood is pretty lame too.
