ok so i just returned back a wastegate actuator to a performance shop and i acquired a sixty dollar store credit. So in the five minutes i had while i was there, i decided to go with a MSD Blaster SS coil. I really couldnt come up with anything else in the price range as i really didnt want to spend extra money there due to their prices not being so "wallet friendly". My question is what would you have gotten for your KA-T if you were in my shoes? I couldve have taken more time to decide but nothing else really came up in my mind for that price range................

JGS has a wire shield to protect those plug wires you keep going through.

I looked on their site and didn't find anything like that. I have the issue resolved for the most part though. I'm just looking to reduce underhood temps as much as possible.

Coil installation=two wire splices. You may also have to install the plug boot that comes with it.

I woudl have gotten one for sure if I didn't already have one.lol

I was wondering if the NGK plug wire will work on that coil or do you have to swap the boot out?

they probably are but one apex filter could net you about 5 ebay air filters. Granted the apex filter may be better, as you well know, our engine bay somtimes prefers the mushroom filters due to space.........

i will start a new thread once i get this coil today.......
