So here's a question. If you could meet anyone, and I mean ANYONE, and become a close personal friend to them, then who would it be and why?

I would love to hang out with Bill Nye. He's been an idol of mine since before I can remember.

These three, all military (shocker, right?), immediately came to mind...

1. Napoleon - I'd advise against the Russian Campaign, specifically the Battle of Borodino
2. Dwight Eisenhower - would love to be in the SHAEF HQ during the first two weeks of June '44
3. Scipio Africanus - Roman general that defeated Hannibal, never lost a battle and had a continent named after him

But as I was making the list I knew it would be Thomas Jefferson, hands down. Anyone that has to ask why needs to do some reading, if only his Wikipedia page.

It'd be amazing to meet Freeman Dyson, and talk about the future of humanity.

But I think even more than Dyson, I'd like to meet Frank Herbert.
His creation (Dune) has become an integral part of my life. His vision of the future of Humanity is simultaneously hopeful and cautionary. I'd love to have known him, and shared his hopes and dreams for the potential of our species.

I'd love to meet Ike. The last warrior-general. And the last warrior-president.

Nikola Tesla, hands down. Also, maybe a translator? I heard his English was kind of weak.

As stupid as it may sound - Jeremy Clarkson or Richard Hammond. I think i'd get along pretty well with either of them and maybe I could convince them to let me be on Top Gear someday :gapteeth:

James May or Bob Lutz

Two of the coolest guys in the automotive world aside from May, Clarkson, Yates, and Katayama.

Anyone know who Cher Lloyd is? Somehow... I want her to be my little sister. My little sister and best friend. Maybe because I always wished I had a little sister and I find her badass... regardless. I wanna be Cher's friend.

LOL, I couldn't think of anything and asked my wife. She thought about it for a moment and said Jesus (we're not even remotely religious )....and Sean Penn! LMAO!

There was a "who would you like to meet on NICO" thread I think around the beginning of 2007. We should find it and bump it.

I'd love to crush some beers with Einstein and talk about random s*** for days.

Dating Jessi Combs would rock too. She's that chick that used to be on Xtreme 4x4. I think she's on overhaulin now, and she filled in on Mythbusters while Kari had her kid. Any girl that can build stuff like she does is an insta-turn on :)
