No cheating.

Also, the prize is pretty worthless.

Based on the apparent difficulty and the hilarity of GM's badge engineering, I am increasing the value of the prize to $3. (It was 50 cents before.)

I didn't look at the date of the magazine. I don't think some of these were around in 83.

Bonus prize if you get the model names right too. It took me 15-20 minutes of Googling to figure them out.

I'm going to save this picture to use in the future when people ask my why I hate red interiors so much. THAT is what I think of whenever I see red in ANY interior, from Ferrari to Yaris. That and Corsicas.

Anyway, to the contest, foreground to background:
Chevy
Olds
Buick
Pontiac

Celebrities had badging in that location on the fender, and came with those mesh wheels. Cutlass Cieras had the badging on the left of the bumper in front of the hood seam. The Pontiac's easy, too, because the 6000 had recessed headlights while the other siblings didn't (well, Celebrity did, but we've got that one already). Recessed headlights=no wraparound corner markers. And the third one's got chrome on the hood along with a hood ornament, so that makes it a Buick.

I know my GMs. Even the ones you couldn't pay me to drive. :gapteeth:

I pulled the picture from a GM forum and the answer is on my blog, so reading my article would be cheating. :D Googling is fair game.

Well done! PM me your address for your prize and bonus prize since you got both the brands and models.

Do you guys remember the Ciera "International"? It was Oldsmobile's upscale trim with a strip of flags on the front fender, as if to suggest Norwegians would be caught dead driving one.

Oops, front one is actually a Celebrity. You can barely see in the picture the half-moon shape of the back of the Celebrity. The 6000 had wraparound taillights.

MoD was the closest so he still wins.
