In addition to the s14, mind you. A buddy of mine has a '91 Golf GTi that is in almost pristine condition. He wants to trade me that car for my wheels and tires (go-zigen's w/ nittos). If he gets his t2 rx7 running in the near future, its a done deal. The zigen's are going bye bye and the Golf will be mine. I will use it as a daily for a few weeks maybe, then I will sell it for hopefully around 3500 bucks and use that cash to buy goodies for the s14

I hope it works out.

Wow, what a trade! That would make a really good daily driver if you ever wanted to take the S14 off the road and onto the track.

Get the FC instead. Who needs reliability? Those things are sweet.

My roommate has an FC T2, currently doesn't run. His friend has an FD, parked in front of our house, doesn't run either. We're becoming the rotary graveyard.

Oh, and I was helping a friend pull the engine out of an FC GXL last night which (surprise) didn't run. On the up side, the new engine we're putting in will be side-ported and redline up above 14k rpm somewhere. Definitely not a daily driver...w00t!!!

14k rpm's, yikes.

This Golf isn't gay looking by any means, its gorgeous. I love the styling.

If I got it I would keep it for a lil while and drive it some, then sell that mother.

I'd do it if I were you. You can definitely make some money out of the deal. Snap some pics of it.
