I found that the secret to success with a gf or wife is that no matter what it is, it's YOUR fault. It's that simple. Even if you had nothing to do with whatever it is. The weather is bad, she had a bad day, don't get all defensive, or feel you must win arguments, which is what I notice a lot of teen/20 something guys do in many of these threads. Just say it's your fault. You'd be amazed how well it works.

I also wouldn't condemn the female species because a few women act rudely or bitchy to you. You might want step back to look at what attracted you to that particular girl and maybe go in a different direction. (no not guys, but a different type of girl)

A little part of you dies every time you give in, but it's better than the misery that will insue if you try to prove that you were right, or that it wasn't your fault. This is ONLY applicable to a relationship that you wish to last though, ie: wife, serious gf. For all the little *excuse my language* HO'S that you might be ****ing around with, don't bother. the hardest thing about relationships is communication. If someone isn't doing their part to convey to the other what the hell is going on then that's when the arguing ensues, and the misconceptions, and assumptions...etc etc.

Like Bubba said though, (which applies to females too IMO) in a situation where your (serious) significant other is pissed off/angry at you/angry at the world/ etc it's better to lament over their troubles than try to prove your'e right and argue with them. That only makes things 300 times worse and makes you feel as crappy as they do. But then again, that's my personality, some people just love to argue than to let it be.
