ok heres the situation i signed up for a fitness plan and i am under the name as the primary. so my resonsibility is to get the money from my friends so that i can pay for the plan.....

however i have been thinking ...... what if my friends don't pay me back...

what can i do (preferrably legal) to get the money from them?????????

Word of advice never be the primary of anything.

legally almost nothing unless you get some sort of signed (and notarised) contract from them. ...or unless they admit they agreed to pay you in court...

Dude if you even have to be concerned about your friends paying you back then you shouldnt have done it.

Alright, here's what you do. This may not be admisible in court, depending upon local laws, but you can still use it to force them to pay anyhow. You talk to them about it one day. Just discuss making sure they are going to pay you. Just make it sound like you are being casual about it, but want to make sure you get it on time, since you don't have the cash on your own. All the while, you have a tape or other type of recorder (pocket PC's work great since their is virtually no time limit) in your pocket, picking the whole conversation up. Then, when (if) they refuse to pay, you whip out the recording and threaten to go to court.
