and your A/C was completely stock, what would be the first thing you bought? Assume the money was only to be used for your car. I want to see what our members feel is the most important first mod, or maybe the ugliest thing to get rid of first. For equality sake, lets assume everyones A/C is a 3.5 cvt.

If you think I forgot something or the choices need updating, post it here and I'll post an updated poll with the new choices in a few days.

Ill say personally that I think the lowering kit is really important and I would get that first, but I couldnt think of anything to pair it with to make $1000. So I chose the audio system. If the car was a 2.5 though like mine it would for sure be the wheels.

could have just made a category: Suspension After the springs, sway bar and install, it wont be to far from $1000

Thats a really good point. I never considered the install prices.

it also depends on what kind of alti you have... for instance... if you have the 3.5, you can sell the stock wheels for like 700, then buy nice 18s with tires for like 900 (only 200 spent so far!)... Then you have a tough decision... depending on the weather in your area, you could go (fascia, tints) or (eibach, tint, intake)

I would use that money toward the capital on my loan. The faster I pay the car off, the more money I'll have to modify it later.

Lowering kit, sway bar, tint, HID's (if it's not premium). Barring these, I'd say a nav unit.

Please tell me where I can sell my 3.5SE stock wheels. The wheels are in perfect condition but the tires have 9k miles on 'em.

I haven't seen any on ebay so I'm curious what one could get for them if I wanted to upgrade...

EDIT: Just checked ebay and someone just posted the 17" stocker wheels + tires for $1 starting bid. (of course it has a reserve) Once that ends I should have a decent idea of the demand...

If somebody gives me $1000 bucks, I would be worried: "what is he going to ask me to do?"

Seriously. . I would mod the suspension first.

You of course! you didnt get the memo? jk.

I actually just wanted to see what our members thought were the "essentials" for this car. And maybe the aftermarket parts makers would invest in those items.

What gives? I didn't see any selections for tribal-flame graphics, lambo doors, skull+dragon floor mats, or Cookie Monster MP3 holder.

Is it weird that i hate lambo doors but think they would look good on the coupe?

Vballer, can I see pics of your system? I've tried searching and I can't get any of what you've done. I have 2 12" Type R's from my previous car and would love to be able to try and fit them in the coupe but I just can't see how. It would be of GREAT help. Thanks!

Well, theres a really good reason for that. It looks like crap! haha its not really that bad, but so far everything I've done I consider a test setup. Im havin the same problems, but I'm startin to design and build some better enclosures. Ill try and get some pics in soon, but what Ive got right now is a ported box in the trunk with one sub facing front, one facing back, both sharing the airspace and single vent. The issue Im stuck on though is the height of the trunk, either way the trim peices are gonna go, but I dont even have both speakers on the rear deck, theres only room for one. The box is about 14" tall if I remember right. It looks very simple, maybe even bad, but to be honest It's probably one of the best setups I've ever heard, no joke. Like I said Ill try and get some pics for you either tonight or tomorrow.
