Haha, dude, if you do it, you'll be the only one, so there's that...

...and if you do it and you make it out to the east coast (you're out west, right?), I'll give you 2 hours of my time for a photoshoot. And I guarantee you we'll find at least one good picture of your car. :P

Anyone know how to remove that chrome piece, by the way? I'm thinking about wrapping it in carbon fiber material to let it stand out a bit.

lol what was your previous car?

and as far as the chrome, I don't think you will find anyone on this forum that will agree with anything chrome on our cars. Imports and chrome don't really go together, but you could be the first one and have mods that nobody else has. :-)

Chrome? Seriously? Whats next? a 4" lift kit and 24"s?

I just threw-up in my mouth. :barf:

Just my opinion. Hey, you may like the car in the pic. Make sure you post pics when you do it to yours like that. I have been looking for new pics for the Fail Thread.

If you like it you should do it. Don't let other people build your car for you

For me, chrome is what my dad liked. It's so old school and I don't know why it is still around. For older vintage cars it fits. Doc who is on this forum is into chrome. If you like it, do it, it is what you like and don't let others tell you what "you" should do.

haha, there a big difference between a pimped out 23 inch chrome wheels Chevy Caprice with a hydraulic lift driven by snoop dog versus just some simple chrome lining along the tail lights. Im using black wheels.

gahhhh haha Its just the Chrome trim along the tail lights peoples, never said ANYTHING about pimping the whole car out with 25 inch chrome wheels, that would be horrible, Im getting black TSW wheels.

finding support for chrome on nico is the car equivalent of needle in a haystack. kill this thread now, don't listen to our biased asses, and make your car look the way you want because if you do a bunch of stuff that other people suggest and you don't really like you will never be happy with your car.

Well, there is only one formal way to wrap this thread up before I delete it later today....

:mike

But remember, it was just the chrome trim on the tail lights, were not talking Snoop dogs Chevy Caprice. And I would get them if they made them for the coupe.... :yesnod

You COULD justify it by trying to match our stock grilles since they have a chrome lining but I don't know how well these tails would flow with the front because you can't see both at the same time. Part of my reason for getting vs-xx was because I wanted a polished lip that would match the lining of my front grille (also the reason why I didn't want to look into c-mod grille). If I got sportier looking wheels, I probably would have changed the grille because the two don't flow together in my eyes.
