If is use SAFC, Will it matter where i put my MAFS?

ive heard of people's a/f ratios not being too smooth if the MAFS is too close to the TB.

Will an SAFC fix this and allow me to change the distance between the two?

Why bother moving the MAF closer to the TB? Just keep it where it's at (relative distance wise), unless you have come up with some radical new intake design.

yeah, theres a guy on this forum who's selling KADE and RB manifolds with shortened runners.

i dont think the stock intake pipe is going to line up, and i was thinking maybe just route a new pipe out where the battery is now, after moving the battery to the trunk.

so i wasnt sure if the shortened distance between the TB and MAFS would screw up the MAFS signal.

I have heard of moving the MAF behind the throttle body, but like Drift Machine I dont see how it would make a difference.

If anything, I would think it would be better to have the MAF closer.

Actually me and my friends talked about this before, moving the intake to where the battery is, would be beneficial. Becuase having the intake piping going over the radiator actually heats up the air. But what you should do is, cut a hole so it goes down into the cold air and just put the MAF down there with the filter.

Edit: sorry I'm a little hungover so if you need a more detailed description, drawing, etc. let me know and I'll do it when my head don't hurt so much
