If I'm changing wheels from factory 18's to M Sport 19's, would it trigger TPMS?

I'm wondering if I'm changing factory 18's to M Sport 19's would it trigger the TPMS light on?? Can I use my 18's lugnuts for these 19's...?I'm also thinking about getting the factory lip kits would I need professional installation on these??

TPMS would have to reprogrammed, unless you are using the exact same senors, and most likely will need to be at the same location on the car - although some M's will recognize senors after rotation.

not sure about lugnuts though.

I have had my OEM TPMS sensors in three different wheel sets and they always matched up to the M. No problems at all. I have read where other owners who switched wheels have had problems with the TPMS sensors reading after the swap.

If you don't use your original TPMS sensors you will probably need a match from the dealer. If you use your original 18s, they should match up.

You can use the same lugs if staying OEM.

Its inside the tire at the reverse end of the valve stem.

Also I have rotated my wheels a few times and sensors never give me trouble.

TPMS = tire pressure monitor system (or somthing like that) the TPMS is the device that measures your tire air pressue and sends it to your computer, so when you check your tire pressure in your Ms system it is the TPMS in the wheels (1 in each wheel) that sends the info.

the Infiniti TPMS is not attached to the valve stem - at least not on my M, its a device that is separate from the valve stem.
