idon't know someone tell me whats going on

alright well i thought my alternator was bad cuz my car would crank but when i hooked up jumper cables it would crank with some strugle and with out the jump the it just starts clicking like when a alternator locks up i got the battery test 3times 2twice for watts n once for load and i comes out good and i can't figure it out o btw the install on the quest alternator upgrade isn't a driect bolt in ka24e u have to make the space were the tession n pivot bolts met bigger and u can't use the same belt i still can't find one i need a 35 7/8 belt i tryen the 36 in n its way to big but any info guy...o n once more thing i might have to put the stock alternator back but on the bottem back side were the long bolt hold the alternator in place there like a little washer on the inside of the back bracket and i can't get it to mount on the block do i just have to play with it to get it back or should i just grind off the little ring/washer

So, what are you asking? How to make the Quest alternator work? Have you tried just getting the stock alternator rebuilt? The place I use rebuilds mine for less than $100.
