Ok my problem is 3 fold.

First off, after warming up the car for 10 minutes in the morning or whenever I get a good idle of around 900-1k rpm. After normal drive, maybe light boosting, FWY driving whatever, it will sometimes stick at around 1200-1400 rpm. When I park the car I let it idle some more (no turbo timer), and it doesn't go down. Sometimes it will even go up a click or two.

Second, while driving and slowing down down to a stop, if I take the car out of gear anywhere above ~1500rpms, rpms drop down to 2-300rpm, will catch for a moment, drop, and then the car stalls out. If I keep the car in gear till I reach a idle rpm's, then take it out nothing happens.

Finally, the other day while I was letting the car idle in my parking garage, I popped open the hood and the car starting to slowly lower it's idle until it stalled out! It happened a second time in a different place under different circumstances but as soon as I closed the hood, RPM's came back up to the normal range.

This is in a stock S13 blacktop with on an RS*R ExMag exhaust. Also there is no intake filter currently on the car. Please help me out no this! Thank you so much NICOnauts!

Well hey, I am not a professional SR20 guy or havent dealt with one yet or anything but I must ask these two questions....1. Do you have an aftermarket BOV and 2. If you have the stock one are you recurculating it........From what I hear most of stalling problems for sr20s are the recurculating issue (but hey its the drivers choice)....I also think that there could be a type of leak in your piping so check that also............. Like I said i am not a pro. but i think it would be a good answer for that question........................

yes it is a stock BOV that is being recirculated. So if just let it release into the atmosphere rather than recirculating it would solve this problem? I'll check for the leak in the piping as well. Thanks!

anyone else with a possible lead?

NO!!!NO!!!!!NO!!!!!!! Not recurculating would cause the same effects....... I think since you are recurculating it, i have no clue what it could be....... Besides the leaks, it could be a dirty mafs sensor, or maybe some wiring problems...... do u have the same spark plugs???u might need a new ignitor chip or things that deal with ignition and or it could be the leaks............... but i was saying that people that dont recurculate have those sputtering and stalling issues when they are parked.....please dont do that unless u are one of those less patient, worryin about your car sounds like towards people, broke down studderin thing............but hey, its worth that phssssssssss sound!!!!!

Spark plugs are the same. Do you think it could be caused by the fact that I have nothing over intake? No filter so dust/dirt could pose a problem?

Yep......I think that could be a problem.......if u have no filter, that MAF sensor will and can get dirty; If I were you I would try to clean it, and if you did the swap yourself, make sure that the wires arent near hot areas such as the exaust system, and if the wires are wrapped up in some heavy duty tape or some really strong and or thick wire...... But I would try cleaning the maf sensor and test the pipes for boost leaks,,,,,,including the pipe going from the BOV back to the maf........I would also check to make sure the Bov is in good condition because it could also be leaking..........it's amazing what kind of info. you can get from a 15 year old huh???LOL By the way, is your maf still on the turbo or did you put it on the cold pipe????? because you can do that too instead of recurculating the bov. By the way, do you have a AIM name or somethin?????maybe i can IM you or somethin.....a whole lot faster
