Idling issues

When I let off the throttle and let my car go back to idle, the rpms drop below 500 and my car almost dies. This even happens if i rev it up to 2000rpm, then take my foot off the pedal. The car never dies, but gets close. What could cause something like this?

My SR is completely stock running stock boost, smic and recirc valve. Could this be because I removed EGR? This shouldn't hurt the engine right?

Had a very similar problem. The outlet of my intercooler pipe was loose and had some leak. I brought it back in the garage and tightened it and it was good to go.
