Hi guys.. New comer to the site. I own a 02 Q45, had for over a year. Has 155k, bought with 144k. Now my car is in great shape but its starting to shake when idling. No codes. Change spark plugs, still nothing. The other day I was warming it up and once it gets under the one, I can feel the shake coming and it felt like it wanted to shut off. I don't know anything about cars. Took it to dealer they wanna charge for a diagnostic, but I told them no there's no codes. They said something about coils or lines can be clogged. Please guys I need help because I need my car running smoothly. Anybody thanks..

Check the large tube going from your air box (has the air filter in it) to the engine. It's about time for the rubber/plastic to start cracking. If that's what you need, call a few dealerships...if they have one they'll make you a great deal on it to clear the shelf space. It's a fairly straightforward/easy swap too.

Similar issue. Riding Rough and Stalling out. Code P0340 Camshift Position Sensor A Bank 1. Replaced the camshift sensor, seemed to fix the riding rough but still stalled out. Replaced an Ignition Coil. Not sure if this helped my the stalling out problem as of yet. Still with the mechanic. Prior to take my car to the mechanic, I used some Flex Seal for the cracking hose. Dealership will not sell you the hose, instead will sell you the Air Inlet Tube Assembly for $400.

Thanks for feed back. But my ilde was find but i had a little shake. No codes. Just had my throttle body cleaned and ilde went up and gas pedal lost power. Its idling at 750-800 and it was lower before cleaning. I think i made it worse.

:welcome: to NICO!

What do you mean by "gas pedal lost power" - do you mean the car doesn't respond at all to the pedal? If that's the case I'd be interested to know how the throttle body was cleaned. If the valve was opened by hand on a drive-by-wire TB to clean it, that could be the problem. The only way I'll clean the one on my wife's G is with the valve closed and the servo motor facing up so that the cleaner can't pool in it - but I still feel like I'm taking a chance. The higher idle is typical after the TB has been unplugged, and will throw a code in a day or so. You can do the idle relearn procedure yourself with the instructions in the factory service manual at www.infinitiservicemanual.com

If you want to be able to see codes and reset them, you can buy a code scanner on eBay that works via bluetooth to an Android device for about $6. I have one like this that works nicely. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Mini-ELM3 ... SwNphWaS-3

Those initials are for the different sections of the service manual. I believe what you're looking for is in section EC.

Thanks alot guys. Took the car to autozone to check codes but their scanner wouldn't pick it up. So gotta go to a mechanic or dealer for diagnose. Will check in once have more information.
