Turned on my car a lil while ago and it was idling at 1.5 RPM. Thought may it would drop as the car warmed up, but when I got to school and parked, it still was idling at 1.5. What could the problem be? Also, that car sputtered when I pressed on the gas from a dead stop.

I've been reading up on this since I have a similar issue and it seems the IACV and coolant temp sensor can cause idle issues as well as the AIV box. I would check your grounding as well. Maybe even unplug your battery for an hour and see if anything changes when your restart the car...I've done it all except replace my throttle position sensor and clean the IACV, and I'm still having problems, so good luck...

Well, I found the problem. I had a pretty bad gas leak. The screw that tightens the ring around the fuel line to the injectors was really loose, allowing the gas to leak. The screw became loose from all the shaking of the motor, since the motor mounts were shot. I tightened the screw, replaced the motor mounts with Nismo mounts and the car is doing great! Luckily, it wasn't the fuel pump, but I am planning on changing it out soon, since I have the Walbro fuel pump. I shall get to that in February, when I get the AGXs and Sportlines, and the car will be at my mechanics getting all that stuff done.

Thanks for the info.
