idles then dies right away

i dont know what is up with my car when i start it up the idle pops up and then it goes down and the engine dies. its not the battery and i changed spark plugs. im wondering if its my starter that is causeing the problem but not so sure that it would. thanks if anyone can help out

All the starter does is start the engine. Anything the engine does afterwards has nothing to do with the starter. Have you checked the fuel pressure?
