It's a built redtop, tuned with a powerFC DJetro. I've been driving it around since July or so and it's been great. It's had a MILD hunt for idle since ever before the build, but nothing real bad. Over the past 2 weeks or so it's gotten worst, but it tends to just "work itself out" and doesn't happen all the time. Well, yesterday it was hunting for idle pretty much all day and last night when I started it up after class, it was searching BAD. It would go from 900-1000rpms and drop to about 300rpms, but NEVER completely die down. It does this from the second I start the car now, and everytime I'm coming to a stop.

So to recap:

Idles gone from mild searching sometimes, to aggressive hunting all the time.

It hasn't completely died down from searching.

It drives COMPLETELY fine once I get going.

Yes, I've searched, but there are honestly a range of answers from "mine does that too" to "bump". And none sounded exactly like my problem.

I have a few ideas what it could be. I've checked for vacuum/boost leaks- none. Any help would be mad appreciated.

Made a boost leak checker tonight to see if I had a boost leak anywhere, found one down by my intercooler where the coupler was. Fixed it, but still didn't fix my problem.

I then cleaned the IACV with come carb cleaner, started her up and purred like new.

Yep, hunting idle usually means IACV.
