Well my ca is doing this thing where it just dies out of no where. I drove it around for 10 minutes and then parked it. While it was idling it just died. I was able to rev it up and all before it died but I'm just confused as hell now. I start her back up and she just dies again. I've replaced the fuel filter, changed the maf, changed the transistor and it still does this. Whats going on? It doesn't matter if it's idling high or low it just dies.

Trying running some Seafoam in through the idle control assembly.

My new S13 w/a KA24DE was permanantly high-idleing. I ran a pint of seafoam through the suction line for the idle assembly and it idles like a champ now.

It's like liquid gold for cleaning out the idle control assembly/plenum/runners/intake ports/valves/combustion chambers/pistons.

Advance Auto. White can with red print.

So take off the idle control assembly and pour seafoam through it or run the engine and have it pull the stuff through it ?

Car runs fine it just dies out of nowhere.

I would check your alternator. Mine was doing the same thing and it was the alternator. It was periodically working, but only when the car was above 2000 rpm's. It charged the battery and ran fine when I was driving but, when I would let it idle it would just die sometimes.
