Idles drop until car dies.

I had an electrical problem and I think it was a combination of things.. but now that seems to be fixed, but the car now will keep dropping in idle until it dies. I think one of the cylinders is misfiring and Im pretty sure I know why, but could this really cause the car to idle til it dies like this? I also have a very large tear in my air intake piping, could it bee that the motor is running too rich and cant get enough air?

those are the only reasons I could come up with and Im going to go see if the intake piping is the reason.. (bcuz goes and gets some plastic wrap and duct tape )

... who'd a thought duct tape and cling wrap could work myricles? heh.. the rip is after the air flow meter and the filter, so the car was suckin in lots of dirty air but it thought it wasnt getting any... so it ended up running REALLY lean... but now it purs like it just rolled off the production line

If you have any air leaks at all past the MAF, your car will run like crap, if at all. Definitely fix that and then come tell us if your car runs poorly.
