I'm trying to find out whether the Q45 shares part numbers with other Nissans/Infinitis with regards to idler pulleys.

Thanks...

The dealer price for new idler pulleys is out there at approx. $150. You could just buy new bearings for the pulleys and that will take care of the problem.

I was thinking more along the lines of a visiting a junkyard. No Q there right now so I thought maybe Maxima, J30 etc. might fit.

The three pulleys are:11947-31U05 $37.3311927-41B01 $34.2211927-60U11 $49.33Total $122.88

If anyone knows which part number is which please post.

NAPA wanted $124 for the bearings installed. I sure the bearings could be located for less.

Hmmm... I was under the impression that all the idlers were the same part. I think IOS price is roughly $85 each pulley.

I've got replacement bearings available that I am selling on ebay right now. Do a search for "Q45 pulley" and you'll find them.

There are at least half a dozen grades of bearings commonly available on the market, all of which have exactly the same physical dimensions. The fact that a replacement bearing fits the original pulley is no guarantee that it is the same quality as what the factory originally installed.

Yeah,

He sells the bearings. He was my first choice but exchanging e-mails with him has proved to be a slow process and I need this like now.
