Okay heres the deal...

My car drives fine in gear, but when idleing at a stoplight at anything below 1k rpm it gets really shaky...

rev it above 1k and its fine.

I'm wondering whats up.

btw I'm new here and enjoying my stay so far.

You didn't say what model you have but most will idle at 750+ or - Sounds like a low rpm miss fire. Start with the basics: Sparkplugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, and such.

I have the same exact problem on my 240, its a 90 with a 97 engine, and it shakes like a ghetto booty when idling, drops to like 600 rpms, and i know its just something with the swap, because the engine runs Perfectly fine otherwise, no missfires the timings on and so on, all i really need to know is how the hell to tighten the throttle nuts so that it revs the car a little at a standstill i mess with them so much but nothing helps.

Try checking your intake first, i took off my stock box on my 89 240 and put in an unsucured cone and sometimes it would fall off, and while idleing it died and i came to find out it blocked the intake hole. Try shaking out your filter first.
