my rb25 is idleing abnormally high cold and hot, at around 1,500-2,000rpm I drive to work every early morning in around 50-60s and after a 15 mintue expreesway ride, it seems to still want to idle there, past few days usually 1800-2000rpm. But even in afternoons (today high 70s) it will still idle at close to if not 2,000rpms. I have a small coolant leak from my heater hose, and I put in a little coolant every now and then until I can fix the hoses, but pretty much maintains full. It's probably 70% water and 30% coolant as of now (been adding water lately). Car doesn't ever overheat or run abnormaly hot, just idles high recently.

Do you think my idle could be related to my coolant issue? I'm going to burp the system and see if there is any air in there, but It just started doing this 2000rpm stuff the last few days. Anything else I should look for. Could running my heater as of lately possibly caused air to get in the system creating my higher idle?

2 big idle affectors to check are:

The AAC

and the Air regulator (its between the intake mani and head)

Mine used to idle at 1500-1800 and it turned out that the spring in the air regulator had come off of its peg, took it out, cleaned it and put it back together and now I idle at 900 cold 700 hot on the rb20
