Just replaced my whole fuel system (factory), temp switches, and maf. Car wants to die at idle. Don't know to much about 240's just bought it a week ago. Could my iacv be causing this? Thanks

probably. what's your idle speed? did you try adjusting it? other things to check: fuel pressure regulator and spark plugs

changed my tps, regulator and spark plugs. tps is set to .53v. i think its supposed to be between .45 and .55. just found out my wires in my maf are loose tho. Rewiring it tomorrow and see how that does. thanks for responding. if that doesn't work i'll hit the forum up some more

poor grounding can cause hesitation and its the easiest to check too. zerothread/159907

thanks. saw that thread the other day and tried it. It didn't pick up anything so i'm guessing thats 0 ohms. getting a backfire but instead of it sounding like it's coming out the back of the exhaust it sounds like its popping around my exhaust manifold. plus the manifold is getting crazy hot and melting stuff thats not even close to the manifold. any other ideas would be helpful. Seafoamed the car and cleaned the throttle body

sounds like an exhaust leak. check your exhaust gasket.

for the hesitation, try removing vacuum hose from fuel pressure regulator and try to drive. improves, check fuel pressure.

remove exhaust gas sensor harness and try to drive. improves, replace sensor. also check your ignition wires and plugs. and dont forget to check your timing.
