idle sputter and stall problem after head swap

when i bought my 240 it had a coolent smoking problem so i removed the head to inspect the hg it was good so i inspected the block it was in good condition so i knew it had to be the head.i swaped it with a good one i had from another 240 i had. when i put every thing together and started the car ran fine for 4 seconds then it started to sputter, the idle droped and slowly bounced from 70 150 and buzzing noises came from under the dash then stalled it would do that every time i start it. when its warmed it will last longer and just sputer for a minute before stalling. the smoking problem was eliminated now i have an even biger one. the car ran fine before. what is causeing this sputtering!!!I cant see it being the timing because when its warm and i unplug the tps sensor it stops suttering but still with the other symptoms. elecrical buzzing?sputtering?stalling?

i just found a blown engine control fuse and replaced it now the car does not stall nor have a weird idle,but it still sputters( i hear poping noises from the exuast)its not noticable when driving.the car drives fine!no hesitations or noticable loss of power. a blown engine control fuse might be a hint to the problem.. is there anybody that can help!!!
