Hello,
So Im throwing a knock sensor in my 99 Pathfinder, the tech at the dealership recommended I do an Idle Relearn and to google it, google failed me! Can't find how to manually relearn idle, cany you provide the step by step?
Thank you so much!

I could be mistooken, but I thought I read somewhere on here that there is no idle relearn procedure on the 3.3 equipped pathfinders. I think it only applies from 2001 and up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It doesn't appear to have the same procedure, but there is a section on idle speed/ignition timing/idle mixture ratio adjustment (EC-35). If that doesn't give you what you're looking for, I can have a look at my Chilton to see if it has anything different.

No, there is no relearn for our 3.3L trucks. You have to drain battery/ecu for 30 min, then measure the volts to the TPS, and adjust accordingly. You can take a cold reading, then adjust when at operating temp. It's fun when it's hot! There are a few how to videos on Youtube - the one I found is a Frontier with 3.3L. I have different style plugs on mine, so I am still trying to adjust mine (had to order new TPS).
