Idle question PLEASE READ

my idle is never the same, it does not fluctuate, but it is rarely at 700. It ranges from 600 to 1400. Again, it is a very smooth idle. It just differs from day to day. I also just installed an "intake" should this affect the idle? Should i worry or am i just looking for trouble. Any imput would be very much appreciatec. TY

the intake shouldnt really make a difference...have you adjusted your idle adjustment screw yet? you may have a small vaccuum leak somewhere as well..recheck your new intake systems vaccuum lines as well as others
