Thanks to the guys that contributed to my situation. Today I just started pulling connectors, no concern for anything. I loosened my throttle cable and cruise cable a little. Maybe they were too tight. I pulled the front heated oxygen sensor connecter- no effect. Pulled the maf sensor connector, engine stalled. Pulled and reconnected other connectors, expecting SEC light. The SEC light didn't come on from any of these actions! ???My GST showed 3 codes from all this. I erased them. I played with the TPS position to try to adjust the idle, I know this is technical butchery. Moved it too far and a relay someplace started freaking out. I also messed around with the throttle plate adjusting screw. I was able to bring the idle up to 750 rpm with this adjustment. It seems to be running fine now; will take a few test drives: somewhat leery but I want to trust my baby again. If it's fixed, it's gonna get a full day detailing!!!!

Dammit. I started the car this morning, wouldn't start 5 times, finally starts and idles at 2500rpm, warms up and starts surging again. It was running perfectly yesterday!!!SUX no codes, no SEC light.
