Hey guys, I'm new to 240's and I got a trade offer for a 93 hatchback with 163k miles on it. The guy replaced the TPS and it runs fine cold, but when you drive it around and let it sit for 30mins it doesn't want to start and it doesn't idle right. You have to crank it for awhile for it to start. I know its not a good explanation but I've been wanting a 240 forever and I'm interested in the trade but I don't know if I should. It also needs a valve cover gasket because it leaks about half a quart a month. Any help? Could it be that the TPS needs to be adjusted?

I don't have an answer for your problem but poorly typed paragraphs really bug me.

If you going to post to be a d!ck dont post at all. That crap doesnt impress anyone.

Op as Out said check the IVAC. If you search the forums there should be a few write ups on how to clean it with it still attached to the car. Also check the MAFS make sure its clean and it wouldnt hurt to get some Electrical cleaner and run it throught it. I had an idle and throttle issue that was cleared up by doing those two things.
