Hey guys. I have surfed through all the stickies and the threads concerning idle problems and I have not really found what I am looking for. This is my problem\
I have a 1992 240sx with a 1996 ka24de block freashly turbocharged. I have swapped out the S14 distributor and installed the S13 distributor. I have pulled off all the emissions and vacuum lines that go with it. I am using the S14 upper intake maifold and the S13 lower. The throttle body nipple has been capped. The nipple on the lower/rear intake is going to the brk booster. The FPR is going to the conn. right next to the brk. booster hose. The BOV line is conn. to the front nipple of the lower intake and the vac/boost gauge line is teed into that. The cold pipe nipple is capped and the AICV hose is capped right now. I had the AICV hose (or the T pipe) connected to the nipple on the air filter pipe wwhich is located right in front of the MAF sensor. I started the car and it idled to 3200RPM's. I capped it and it idled to 1800rpms. I have no idea what is causing the high idle. I have had issues with the timing as well too if that might play apart in it. All I know is that before the car was turbo'd it was fine and now the idle is wierd and I can not find the timing marks any more. Any thoughts? Like I said I could not find any threads or stickies that helped?
