take off the EGR and block it off completley. what do you mean-10psi/20psi? do you mean inhg?? you should be be -20inhg vacuum at idle. what are you dec. air settings for the safc. what airflow are you at idle on your safc monitor. if its 0% that means your MAF isnt hooked up right. and since your using 42lb injectors i assume your using a z32 MAF. recheck the MAF wiringnb07bcar wrote:Safc2, 42lb injectors. I have the egr hooked up to my air filter. No vacume leaks. when I'm lean I am about -10psi and when i'm rich-20psi
Guys PIntoTech.com sells these things for the EGR blokc off. You cna either go there or talk to Anthony ( Structure240sx) about getting one.JDMEnthused wrote:if your looking to block the EGR off just fab up a kinda thin but not too thin piece of metal and fit it down over it..
i also got one from anthony. i perfered his because it makes you take the WHOLE egr off. not just block it off where the pipe comes off. i think it makes it a lot easier because its easier to do it with the engine still intact. the owner before me sealed the pipe to the EGR so that was another reason i had to take it completley off. And for the people who didnt take it off yet, YES it afftected my drivibility very much. i would get constant jugs just cruising around the block, very annoyingGEO wrote:BTW, I got a PintoTech EGR plate.. WORKS GOOD.
