no! there was a technical service bulletin about that problem on 95 -96 sentra/200sx it required adding a diode subharness in the car near the center console and replacing the idle air control valve.

link? i dont know of any specific link. the solonoid is probably no good or a wire is damaged. do an ohms check on the solonoid see if it is out of range it should be some where around 20 to 40 ohms, or close to that range. if it is ok check your wires for opens or shorts. the bullitin applied only to idle problems and possible codes for the air valve.
