Hi all

Having a prob with a maxima with the 2.0 v6 motor. When you get to a stop, with the motor running and the shift in drive, foot on brake, she starts hunting and even stalls sometimes. But if you put it into neutral , idles fine. On the go, no problems though. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like an idle air control valve issue. There's a hose that runs from the IACV to the intake (between the MAF and the manifold). Make sure that is connected. It also may need cleaning. Instructions for cleaning it can be found here: http://www.moodym.com/maxima/c...l#IAC

What year is your Max?
