Idle Problem...

Hi:

I have a 1993 240SX SE. After a somewhat difficult overheating days, I solved the problem, but something began during that time that hasn't stop.

The engine idles fine for about 10-15 seconds and thens tries to stall 2 or 3 times, then back to the 10-15 good idle. During the rough seconds black smoke comes out of the exhaust.

Acompanying this, when driving there is also a jumpy throttle response...kind of jerking everytime I step or get off the gas.

Although this has happened before, it never endured more than 2 or 3 days....now it's been more than a week.

Please advice.
