idle problem

my 91 240sx sr red top idles at like 1300 and plays around. anyone know why?

need more information????? did it just start doing this? did you just do a motor swap? we can't help you if you don't give us more info!!!!!!!!!

sorry, i just bought it. he said phase 2 swapped it.it idles all weird sometimes 1300 sometimes 1100can you tell me what info you need please?

the car was previously in colorado. now its in iowa. i asked previous ower why the idle screwed up after i left his house. because when i test drove it was fine idle. he said it could be elevation change. but that doesnt even sound like an option to me..? but i dont have a clue.? anyone please help

Well this is where you will start to learn about your car? you are going to have to start checking vacuum lines throttle cable a manual would help that has your new engine swap do you have any pic's of your motor....James
