my car never really idles the same way and it has been doing this for a while now... (s13 SR20det)when i come to a stop, the idle may range anywhere from 600rpm's to 1700 rpm's- it is never consistantly the same- I had turned my idle up because it would sometimes drop so low that it would stall out. but now i want to fix the problem because the car has NO regular idle. sometimes it bounces around when im stopped, or sometimes it idles low, or sometimes it idles high. also, sometimes when i go to start the car, it has trouble idling and stalls out immediately if i dont give it gas and keep revving it up. after looking around and searching, i have a few guesses as to what it may be but i reall am not 100% sure. i have an uncirculated blitz BOV and i am running on a stock fuel pump so the 2 best guesses i have are the BOV needs recirculation or the new fuel pump needs to go in... any ideas?

recirculate the bov....#1 cause of stalling without a tune.

ok.. my BOV is on my hotpipe and i figured it would be a good idea to recirculate it but i figured i would put my other hot pipe on that has no BOV on it and see what it does... when i do this, the car acts the same way so does this still mean that i need a recirculated BOV to fix my problem? or is it most likely something else that is making the problems?

I was having the same problem when i got my s13 earlier this week, came to find out that it had a dohc ka24 maf sensor wired into it, id say make sure by checking the serial number that it isnt the case. just an idea
