well i just got this new 240 as my project and the thing idles like crap. it has solid motor mounts so that could be part of it. when its still i have it idleing at about 1000 to keep the motor from shaking soo much. drives fine, but when coming to a stop the rpm dropes down to like 400-500rpm and almost dies...sometimes does so i have to blip the throttle...once im stopped the idle slowly comes back up to about 1000-1100....id like the idle lower but any lower the car will die when coming to a stop

any suggestions? the timing is set at stock too and no vaccuum leaks that i can see

I had this problem with the rpms dropping and the car almost dying when coming to a stop. I fixed mine by thoroughly cleaning the MAF and the throttle body. Other people say clean the IACV also.
