Well, my car (1992 240sx with a stock KA24DE) is having idling problems. Basically, when i first start up the car it idles at about 1900 rpm, but once its warmend up it will idle at about 200 rpm. It only seems to idle very low once i let off the gas and press in the clutch when i am coming to a stop, the rpms drop so low it just about stalls out.

If anyone can help me that would be great. I really hope its a quick fix and i dont have to waste my money taking it to a mechanic.

Do you have any modifications to the driveline? (clutch/flywheel/driveshaft/etc.)

Could be the IAC (idle air control valve) malfunctioning. I'd also check your base timing and make sure it's in check. From there i'd also check the voltage at the TPS sensor (Throttle Position) ... make sure the engine is off, turn the key to accessory 2 (where your fuel pump primes but you don't engage the starter) ... take a multimeter and check voltage at the TPS, should be about .45v @ 'idle' position and about 4.5-4.7v @ 'wot' position.

Check those first.

Dan is right you have to check the basics timing another suggestion is check for vacuum leaks and make sure egr (if epuipped) is not being held open etc. good luck with your problem. hope this helps you.
