idle problem

i just finished my turbo kit on my 95 nissan 240sx i race my friend yesterday but as soon as i got off the off ramp my car started shaking rpm's were going up and down from like .5 to 1 and it sounded like a knocking sound in the valve cover and in the engine i but if i give it some gas it will go away but like 1min later it starts again but then ill go away off and on when it does it the car feels like its going to turn off when i ran i whent all the way to 10psi its an upgraded t28 but i didnt feel much pool can it be that my intercooler is to big and is my engine gone? i checked spark plugs and injectors seems good plz help comp is in 2 weeks

just a side note: the valve cover knocking noise- i blew my motor in my car b/c the top timing chain guard broke... it made an awful ticking noise... remove your valve cover and see if its broke (take it off and see if the guard is just hanging there) ur idle problem not sure about that... could be ur getting too much air from the turbo and not enough fuel... the air-fuel ratio really does matter lol... try upgrading your fuel system
