Idle problem..please help!!

So i installed an intake manifold on my rb20 and for some reason now when i adjust the idle srew nothing happens?Ive checked for leaks. Also for some reason sometimes during idle my rpms will drop and the car starts to run very lean. Can someone please help me

What kind of intake manifold? RIPS? Plasma? You could have a big leak at the IACV too did u change the gasket when u installed it onto the new manifold? What about the paper intake manifold gasket did u replace that too?

its an ebay intake manifold..I know it was a mistake to buy but i am trying to commit to it lol..I did have a leak at the iacv so i put gasket maker on it. Do you have any idea why i have the lean idle..When it goes lean i get down to like 12 in of vacuum.

Order some new gaskets from Cometics. They sell intake and IAC and throttle body for the Rb20. I never had any good results with the silicone for a gasket.

yea ill try that..I only checked for leaks with a smoke machine..maybe i should make a boost leak tester. I really regret buying the manifold..thinking about selling it and picking up a rips or plazaman
