idle problem on s14 ka

hey i noticed recently that when my car gets warmed up the idle acts weird...as im driving and comping to a stop,I press in the clutch and put it into neutral and the rpm doesnt drop to idle.....instead it stays between 2k-3k and then later slowly comes down to 900-1k...what could be the problem???? Does it have to deal with the ignition, or headgasket about to fail? thanks

checc ur throttle position sensor.........thatz common on a 240sx

it doesnt do this when the engine is warm? check your tps voltage at idle and w.o.t. are you running rich at all? also try adjusting the idle adjustment screw on the iacv to see if that does anything for you
