First of all, I have the typical 240sx idle problem and I'm finally going to track it down and fix it. I read in the 240sx.org FAQ that it is probly the IAA valve. So, do I need to replace it? That would suck, it's $130 from Autozone. Most importantly, where is it? I read that someone had an IAA problem and all they did was establish an extra grounding wire and it was fixed. Is this a possibility?

Thanks,Brandon

with electrical there are variables to failure but yes a ground problem could be it. If its a mechanical failure it could be the valve it self. some people have cleaned it and been successful in straightening up the idle.

On the S-14 there is a fuse for Ecm functions that can blow and cause the car to idle real bad and it will through a bunch of codes I not to familiar with the S-13 but I would check all your fuses, It might be a simple fix???Thanks
