idle problem (i looked around but really cant find a specific answer)

well i changed all the accessory belts on my 92 240sx and after everything is replaced my idle is really rough. it would drop from 800 or 700 rpm to like 200 n bounce back up to 1000. Also sometime when i drive and push it hard and put it in neutral right away my rpm would fall until it stall and it is dangerous. So please, if anyone has the solution to my problem lmk... THANKZ

Hey, you might want to check and make sure you connected all the vacuum lines that connect under the throttle body

Check for a sticking EGR valve.

my car similarly had a bouncy idle. I checked all the vacuum lines and didn't find any problems. But my timing was at 15 BTDC instead of 20 like it's supposed to be. I advanced my timing to 20 BTDC and it idled fine after that.
