First off I have a 1989 240 HB, the stock KA is rebuilt with around 12k miles on it. When I bought it 3 weeks ago it wouldnt hold an idle. I found a couple vaccuum lines not blocked off well enough so I fixed those and it idles better but still not right. Sometimes with will hold an idle around 700-800 RPMS, sometimes 1500 RPMs, and once in awhile 1900RPMs. What could it be causing it to do this?
Secondly, My e-brake light stays on in the dash. I looked at it today and it dims slightly when the e-brake is not engauged but the light doesnt shut off. I check the connection at the e-brake and it doesnt seem to be that so what could I do to fix this?
