When i start the car it immediatly wants to die and idles at 500rpm's and stays like that all the way to warm up, but even at warm up it idles at 500rpm's. After driving for a long while it will idle at 600rpm's. Ive changed cap, rotor, plugs, wires, 02sensor, coolent temp sensor. i have new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets on there put on by a reputable shop. I think i am running rich becuase when i had my exhaust, everytime i shifted it would pop and becuase my spark plugs foul out within a few months (5-6). Im stumped!

when i drive it is fine, doesnt hold back and is strong, but when i come to a stop then it drops down to even 400rpms and then chills at 500 or 600 rpms. fpr? intectors, maf? i have to smog this year!!!! help me!

yes i have searched and have been for a hours.

did you try adjusting your idle adjustment screw on your iacv? try that, if it doesnt help then clean your iacv.

should be connected to the intake manifold dont know exactly where. try to find a picture of it online and then look around the intake manifold for it or just search on here to find your answer.

The IACV is located behind the intake manifold, you can access it from the side of the unit, and you will need a flat head screw driver to adjust it.
