I finally got my KA running again, but I'm having some issues with getting it to idle correctly. It's a 1996 engine in 92 s13, so I had to switch out the TPS to retain the 1 plug that the s13 wiring harness has. This is the only thing that I have changed that could affect the idle. I read the TPS adjustment faq and tomorrow I'll try that, but I was wondering if there could be anything else. I searched for threads on the IACV, but none were really helpful.

Also, to get the car to run without stumbling I bumped the idle up to 2000 rpm via the nuts on the throttle cable, but now the idle is back down to around 300-500 rpm without my intervention. It seems to be a little smoother lower than 1000 rpm than it did when I first got the engine running, but it's still a little jumpy. Thanks.

I seem to be the only one to respond to my threads. Anyway, the problem was leaky injectors. After I replaced and lubed up the o-rings with some vaseline, it starts right away and idles like a champ at 700 rpm.

This is for searching purposes in case anyone else comes across this problem.
