I still have a few kinks to work out i guess. When i start my car it fires right up and idles fine and it pulls good vacuum. But after driving for a few minuts when i come to a stop my car struggles to stay on and in most cases dies, Then when i go to start it up again it sits there and cranks for a cool 20 seconds then finally barely starts up again?? It runs fine if im driving but it doesnt like to idle and it doesnt want to start after it dies??any suggestions???

sounds like you are running rich... cyl getting flooded with fuel and causing hard to start conditions.

Check for boost/vac leak first as always.

I swear... 80% of SR problems always lead to boost/vac leaks.

Oh and check to see that your fuel injector seals + injectors arn't bad.

thanks for the answere. Im gonna check it all out. Im pulling 18 lbs of vacuum when i first start it up and it idles normal, thats normal vacuum with the bc cams. Also i have deatchwerks injectors; how do you check the injectors for leaks? Also i have enthalpy ecu with no stock o2 sencor so im debating wether maybe thats the cause of all this. Again thanks for the reply your always real helpfull!!!

Is the ECU turning off the o2 feedback or are you just not running any o2 sensors at all? I may be able to fix the problem by adjusting the tune if you give me some more information.

You can unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold and lift it up so that you can clearly see the tip of the injectors. Then turn your key to on so that the fuel pump is turned on and the fuel rail is pressurized. Now look at the tip of the injectors, if the seals or the injector it self is bad then you will see fuel slowly dripping from it.

Also you can pull a normal amount of vac and still have pretty bad vac/boost leak. The only way to test for sure is to pressurize the intake system and spray soap everywhere so you can see it bubble.

ok im gonna do a leak test......and enthalpy sais that his tune is based off of maf readings and the only thing that the stock o2 will do for me is improve gas mileage.

Odd that you're getting a lean running condition...

In my experience, the symptoms described are from running rich, as was stated earlier. I had a similar issue happen last winter, it turned out to be a bad fuel pressure regulator. The regulator was stuck and caused my pressure to go high. I replaced it, and my stalling/non-start issue went away.

I'm wondering if some of your issues are due to a bad tune. The only way to really test it, though, is to have someone with an identical setup that you can plug your ECU into or plug theirs into yours.

You're using good quality parts, so I'm hesitant to point any fingers at them, but this is the aftermarket and crap does happen. I would just start trying to eliminate what the potential cuase of the issue is. Is it not enough fuel? or is it too much air? Either the ECU is reading less air than what is really coming through (possible bad MAF or faulty tune) or the injectors aren't pumping enough (bad injectors, bad FPR, bad tune).

EDIT: Late thought. Since the issue only surfaces at idle, make sure your IACV isn't acting up. I would double check to make sure it's clean and functioning right.
