My car has been having really low idle that constantly goes from 400-700 up and down. Ive been thinking its the iacv but my friend told me one of the orings is bad since i just got new injectors. Ive been noticing that black soot has been coming out of the driverside exhaust which makes me believe its the oring now.... what do you guys think?? Thanks

If the idle changed after the injector replacement, then one would only assume that it was a problem with an injector, right?

Is the idle rough?

yes very rough sounds like the engine is gunna die. true but the car was also sitting for about 2 months between the injector replacment. but if i rev above 1k the engine sounds fine. but the black soot always comes out of the drivers side.. hmmm

Sounds about right for an injector problem.

If they're that new, I'd bet it's the O-ring. JECS is the company a lot of people use for blanks IIRC. SShould be fine.
