Hope you guys don't mind me asking this here, seems like everytime I go to other sections of Nico I get slammed. My idle is a little low, to where the car shakes a little when at a red light. If I just lay my foot on pedal and bump idle up about 200 rpm it smoothes right out. How do I go about adjust the idle properly? I see the double cables in the bracket at front of engine, but do not know if that is where you adjust or not? What is proper rpm setting for idle?

Mines is currently just below the 500 line. Can you be a little more specific where this screw is?

Hope it works for you.

If that doesn't help, remove the entire AAC and clean it really good with carb cleaner. Sometimes they get gunked up and don't flow much air.

If not, you may need to check on wiring issues. A bad ground from the block or numerous other places might have an affect on the idle.

Mine's been running a little high at nearly 1100 ever since I put in a short ram intake...maybe I'll mess with this myself

(Yes I remembered to disco the battery when I put it in)

My buddy's vert runs 1100rpm at idle. I turned the screw all the way, but it still runs above 1000rpm. What should I do?

It's either mechanical or electrical.

MechanicalCheck for vacuum leaks. Remove and clean the AAC. Remove and clean the throttle body.

Electrical. Clean the MAFReset the ECUcheck for shorts in wiring on throttle position sensor.
